Head Cashier

Responsibilities Include:

Helping customers find products, and making recommendations.

Ringing sales on the register.

Unloading racks and building attractive displays on garden center tables

Moving and re-setting product as new deliveries arrive

Making and accurately displaying price and sale signs

Keeping the display area clean and well-organized

Removing damaged product from the sales floor

Communicating daily with store employees and merchandiser

Receiving product, printing labels and pricing

Job Requirements:

High energy and a positive attitude

Reliable transportation, cell phone and daily access to email

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to pull/roll heavy shipping racks into position

Ability to perform moderate physical work in all weather conditions

Landscape Designer

Design, Sales and Customer Service

• Prepares preliminary design, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates Provide unique, high quality designs that meet or exceed client’s needs.

• Generate fair, thorough and accurate design proposals.

• Communicate the design and installation processes to clients to help ensure realistic expectations, help them make better decisions and to recognize the importance the design expertise.

• Introduce clients to other CWL services and recommend services/products that help ensure the vision of the design and that the client’s evolving needs are met.

• Introduce maintenance and enhancements staff to clients as appropriate.

• Follow up with clients before, during and after installation takes place.

Project Management

• Communicate design intent to project manager before beginning projects, explaining special details or nuances of the installation to maximize crew’s productivity.

• Revise plans and estimates according to project changes and communicate alterations to clients, crews and subcontractors.

• Inspect projects as they progress to determine regulation and specification compliance, and make recommendations to existing specifications and plans.

• Collaborate with contractors, construction supervisors and related disciplines to oversee work assignments and coordinate work.

• Track all expenses on jobs, ensuring proper entry of time, materials and subcontractors for each. • Process contract orders, PO requests, and subcontractor agreements.

• Convey special requirements to operations staff to schedule crews effectively and efficiently and ensure client satisfaction and/or adherence to contracts.

• Follow all safety work rules and report rule violations immediately.

• Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work.

• Keep current on industry trends and developments.

Estimating and Billing

• Produce realistic estimates, create and oversee adherence to budgets to bring jobs in at desired profit rates.

• Follow up with clients to complete or negotiate punch lists to bolster collection timing.

• Work with accounting department to submit billing according to intervals set out in contracts
